Cookie policy

Our website uses the cookies it needs to work. With your permission, it also uses cookies that show us how the site is used and whether our adverts work. We ask the first time you visit, and nothing in the second and third lists below is set unless you say yes. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Cookies the website needs

These are always on, because the shop can't work without them.

• hgc_basket — remembers what's in your basket. Lasts 30 days.
• hgc_session — keeps you signed in to your account. Lasts 30 days.
• hgc_wishlist — remembers your wishlist when you're not signed in. Lasts 180 days.
• hgc_binder — remembers the binder you're putting together. Lasts 1 year.
• hgc_consent — remembers what you chose about the cookies below, so we don't ask on every page. Lasts 6 months, then we ask again.

We also keep one setting in your browser so the newsletter pop-up isn't shown again once you've closed it.

When you pay, SumUp's payment page may use its own cookies to keep your payment secure. SumUp's own privacy notice explains those.

Analytics cookies — only if you say yes

Google Analytics shows us how many people visit, which pages they look at, and what they add to their basket and buy, so we can see what's working. Google receives this along with your device, browser and rough location, but not your name or email address. Google's privacy policy explains how Google uses it.

• _ga and _ga_… (ending in our Google Analytics ID) — Google Analytics: tell one visitor from another. Last up to 2 years.

Marketing cookies — only if you say yes

The Meta Pixel tells Facebook and Instagram when someone visits our website or buys from us, so we can see whether our adverts work and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account. Meta's privacy policy explains how Meta uses it.

• _fbp — Meta: recognises your browser between visits. Lasts 90 days.
• _fbc — Meta: set only when you arrive by clicking one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts. Lasts 90 days.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you take back a yes, we delete those cookies and stop loading that service. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings, but your basket and signing in won't work without the ones the website needs.
